Responding to the Tragedy at Virginia Tech

In response to the April 16 tragedy at Virginia Tech, a list was compiled to help address the challenges that may arise in these situations, and to guide in thinking about whether and/or how to discuss emerging events. The gathered Internet resources are organized into two broad categories:

As instructors, many find that during a time of national crisis, our students often need and want to use the classroom as a place to sort out difficult questions and passionate feelings about current events.
