Charge to Board

The charge to the Advisory Board is to provide suggestions and feedback to the Director of the Program for Faculty Development and Organizational Development (OF&OD) as she shapes the direction of the program. Specifically, Board members will:

  • Serve as liaisons with colleagues concerning faculty and organizational development issues;
  • Provide suggestions regarding OF&OD programs, policies and resources;
  • Review and critique relevant written and online materials;
  • Occasionally observe or participate in OF&OD programs, workshops, or events.

The Advisory Board will meet twice each semester during Fall and Spring, with each meeting scheduled for two hours. Board members occasionally may be asked to provide input or feedback via e-mail between the scheduled meetings. The Board’s initial meeting met in February 2005 and included an orientation as part of the meeting.

Adsvisory Board members will eventually serve for three years, but to establish a staggered rotation, initial appointments are for two, three or four year terms.
