Homepage of the ASABE with membership and conference information, links to publications, and other useful materials. Typing “education” and “teaching” into their Technical Library search engine brings up over 1000 abstracts of ASABE articles focused on teaching in this field, with full text available to members or for purchase as individual print documents.

Journal of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Education (American Society of Agronomy).
A peer reviewed journal for teaching ideas K-16 in the life sciences, natural resources, and agriculture. Includes course descriptions, articles on use of online materials, exercises, web lessons, learning activities, SoTL research, and issues in teaching. Online version continuously updated during the year; one hard copy version published in December. Current issue available to paid subscribers only; full text of archived issues, 1998-2005, available free online.

Agripedia (University of Kentucky, College of Agriculture).
A comprehensive multimedia instructional resource for all areas within the study of agriculture and natural resources, including biosystems and agricultural engineering. Has searchable database for courses, course materials, a glossary, and relevant resources. Unfortunately, there are some dead links, but the site still has much to offer educators who are willing to browse through the numerous links provided.

Effective Teaching in Agriculture and Life Sciences.
A resource for educators in agriculture and life sciences who want to become better teachers. Offers online lessons created by Agricultural Education faculty at Mississippi, North Carolina, and New Mexico State Universities with a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Eighteen units provide material on such concepts as motivating students to learn, developing higher order thinking skills, lab instruction, lecturing, learning styles, and other issues in teaching important to all disciplines in agriculture and life sciences.

World of Agriculture ( Kansas State University ).
A comprehensive site in agriculture education with links to numerous resources, including magazines and newsletters. associations, instructional materials, and photos. The Biotechnology page contains hundreds of links useful for teaching.

Digital Library for Earth System Education (DLESE).
Supported in part by the National Science Foundation, the DLESE offers access to electronic materials in all aspects of earth science education, including agricultural engineering, for both teachers and learners at all levels. Has searchable database with such materials as maps, images, online courses, field and lab activities, curriculum, and assessment.
